CEU Provider Information
A Continuing Education Provider delivers educational opportunities for licensed instructors in Nevada. Nevada licensed instructors must complete 30 or 60 hours of continuing education to renew an instructor license for 2 or 4 years. This application collects information from Continuing Education Providers for approval to provide these required hours.
A CEU Provider Application is not required for extended education or training for licensed cosmetologists, hair designers, estheticians, or nail technologists. A CEU Provider Application is only required if you wish the course you provide to be acceptable for the use of a licensed instructors to obtain the 30 or 60 hour total requirement for instructor license renewal.
If the course you provide is directed towards continued education for standard licensees only who are NOT instructors licensed to teach at cosmetology schools, YOU DO NOT NEED TO SUBMIT A CEU PROVIDER APPLICATION.

All instructor CEU's must be obtained through a provider listed below.
NOTE: The courses on this list DO NOT lead to licensure and are intended for licensed instructors in the State of Nevada.
IF YOU DO NOT SEE A CEU COURSE ON THE APPROVED LIST, PLEASE CONTACT US AT INFO@NVCOSMO.COM TO CONFIRM THAT THE CLASS WILL BE ACCEPTABLE TOWARD THE CEU REQUIREMENT FOR INSTRUCTOR LICENSE RENEWALS.
CEU PROVIDERS LISTED AS PROVIDING "MULTIPLE IN-SERVICE CLASSES" DOES NOT MEAN ALL COURSES FROM THIS PROVIDER ARE ACCEPTABLE.
DO NOT COMPLETE THE SAME COURSE MULTIPLE TIMES TO MEET YOUR CEU HOUR REQUIREMENT WITHIN THE SAME RENEWAL CYCLE. CERTIFICATES FOR REPEATED CLASSES OR CURRICULUM WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
